Who we are
EG4 Risk
Our Expertise, Our Services
EG4Risk srl is a dynamic engineering company specializing in geological and geotechnical 3D modeling, geological-environmental risk analysis, and research and innovation in response to climate change challenges. EG4Risk is a spin-off of the University of Milano-Bicocca and has three university professors with a high international scientific profile among its founding partners. The company contributed to the development of the 3D rockfall modelling software HY-STONE, which is distributed by EG4Risk.
Our deep expertise in geotechnical and environmental engineering, with a focus on geological risk mitigation, 3D modeling, and climate change adaptation, has enabled us to work on major infrastructure projects both nationally and internationally. With over 50 completed or ongoing projects, we operate mainly in Italy, but we have also activities carried out abroad, thanks to our ability to deal with complex projects in international contexts.
EG4Risk is a subsidiary of Lombardi Ingegneria Srl since 2022, operating worldwide in the design of innovative and sustainable infrastructures.
Our team at EG4Risk is composed of highly skilled professionals and renowned experts in geotechnical engineering, geology, and risk analysis, each bringing extensive experience and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability in addressing complex environmental challenges: Prof. Giovanni B. Crosta, Prof. Riccardo Castellanza, Prof. Paolo Frattini.
EG4Risk’s technical team includes professionals who fully cover the wide range of topics the company addresses. Gabriele Frigerio is an environmental engineer with a ten-year CV in 3D numerical modelling applied to slope stability, underground excavations, and infrastructure foundations. Giulia Feneziani is a geotechnical engineer with several years of experience, expert in geotechnical and structural design and verification of tunnels, underground works and retaining and foundation structures. Micol Fumagalli (PhD) is a geologist specialized in shallow landslides and debris flows modeling. Serena Rigamonti (PhD) is a geologist expert in InSAR and specialized in monitoring of ground deformation phenomena and in the assessment of geological risks. Camilla Lanfranconi (PhD) is a geologist with strong experience in landslide modelling and risk analysis, and the application of Nature-Based Solutions in the context of climate change.
